“An arrogant initiative in defense of the web”

In this first and hopefully last edition of 403 day (March 4th, 2008) we deny access to our sites from Internet Explorer.

The application of web development standards allows websites to work and display correctly on almost every browser. Sadly, Internet Explorer, the browser with the greatest market share, has major issues in the implementation of these standards. As a consequence of such deficiencies, web developers must do extra work to ensure a good experience for this browser's users. And this costs money. And hair, a lot of hair.

For the sanity of thousands of web workers: don't break the web, use a different browser.
